Evangelization Formation - We had a wonderful gathering of people who responded to this request. I’ve been talking the last few years about our need to reach out to those around us with the Good News of Jesus, risen from the dead. The harvest is plenty. We’ve done a couple of starts to establish a group in the parish to move toward this; this feels like it will “take”. With the gospel of the Wedding at Cana last Sunday, we completed the tria miracula, the three miracles that make up the Epiphany: the Star, and the worship of the Wise Men; the Baptism of Jesus, and the change of water into wine. You are Loved These are words that have been running through my mind, partly to the tune of a lovely ACTS song. We again ended the Christmas season with observing the Baptism of the Lord, and it’s striking on several levels.
