ACTS RETREATS

The ACTS weekend inspires, encourages, challenges and so much more. It is put on by lay people, for lay people and with support from our parish priests. Through this weekend you will get to know people in the parish who are searching for the same things you are.  Learn more... 

 

ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

Assists the young people of the parish in the promotion of organized athletics with the goal of teaching good sportsmanship, respect for the rules, authority, and self-discipline among participants. Coach teams in baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, track and soccer. Have fundraisers to provide uniforms and pay for the use of playing fields.  Parents can register their child, sign up to coach, and set up an account at: www.SportsIllustratedPlay.com.  Inquiries about a specific sport should be directed to the Coordinator of that sport.  If you have difficulty contacting that coordinator, please contact the President.     Meetings - 3rd Monday of the month in the Parish School Cafeteria at 7:00 p.m.

BOY SCOUTS/CUB SCOUTS

Scouting helps young children reach their potential and development into caring, competent adults, under the supervision of adult volunteers. The scout program is for boys in the parish starting in the 1st grade. The aims of the program are Citizenship, Character and Physical and Mental fitness.

DIVINE MERCY CENACLE

Join us to pray the rosary, chaplet and study St. Faustina’s, diary (a diary which Jesus ordered her to keep).  Meetings -Monthly on the 2nd and 4th Fridays in Parish Meeting Room #1  Contact - Millie McNary 

 

GIRL SCOUTS

Develop Christian values in young women and girls. Provide opportunities for them to build confidence, esteem, character, and career focus.   Meetings - determined by each troop.

LAY APOSTLES OF JESUS CHRIST THE RETURNING KING

We seek to be united to Jesus in our daily work, and through our vocations, in order to obtain graces for the conversion of sinners. Jesus promises not only peace to those who serve as His Apostles but also that He will pursue the complete conversion of their loved ones. Requirements of Lay Apostles include one hour of Eucharistic Adoration weekly, Monthly Confession and participation in a monthly prayer meeting where the rosary is recited. Group meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., whichever time best fits your schedule.   Contact - Paul Horn 

 

LEGION OF MARY

The Legion of Mary is an organization of men and women whose purpose includes meetings of prayer.  New members are always welcome.

        Meetings held every Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00am in Room #1

MEN’S PRAYER GROUP

Men gather in the Adoration Chapel to pray the rosary and recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy every Tuesday from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Immediately following, men gather in Room 1 of the parish hall for sharing of the Word. Available to all men of the parish over 18 years old. No officers, no fund-raisers, no committees, no permanent members. Just come and join us as little or as often as you wish. We would love to have you join us!

PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION

PSR Grade Levels 1-8. Our combined PSR is for any Catholic students who attend non-parochial schools. We provide an environment of learning about the Catholic faith, develop a sense of community, and encouraging all to do service for others through the example of Jesus. CHRISTIAN INITIATION PROGRAM (formerly RCIA)

The Christian Initiation sessions for 2017-18 have begun.  The group meets weekly at 9:30 a.m. in the Parish Center, Room #1. The classes are open to anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith. Even if you’re a life-long Catholic, you are most welcome to come and participate! ST. ROSE PHILIPPINE DUCHESNE SCHOOL

Our school welcomes volunteers from the parish (must have Protecting God’s Children certification) to serve as playground and lunchroom monitors, tutors, etc.  Contact – School Office  314-921-3023

 

YOUTH MINISTRY

Share this outreach to our middle school and high school aged parishioners with neighboring parishes. It offers an opportunity for shared prayer, Christian service, and social interaction in a Catholic setting.     Learn More..
