In celebration of Black History Month, Mrs. Driskill's third-grade students each researched a famous African American and presented a report to fellow students on that person's life and accomplishments.  Students created posters with pictures and highlights, and made an oral presentation as if they were the famous African American. Many used props and dressed as their subject. They learned about musicians, inventors, writers, athletes, activists, pilots, explorers and more!  All the students' posters are featured in the video slideshow below.
