From the Pastor's Pen - June 23, 2019

Just a couple of reminders: The Parish Strategic Planning Survey will be online at the parish website for another week or so, in case you didn’t fill it out in church. We’re giving each parishioner an opportunity to contribute to the directions of the parish. At the end of the summer, we’ll receive a fascinating provisional Parish Portrait from all this, till we generate the full plan.

This is the last weekend we’ll have envelopes for the Special Facilities Appeal in the pews. The projects needed were listed in the letter sent to parishioners: Boilers for the hall and meeting rooms, air conditioners in the hall and elsewhere, and other mechanical items. Major buildings require renewal and repairs around every 50 years or so, and that’s where we’re at. We have a great set of buildings in which to pray, meet, educate, and relax together. We’ve received a significant amount so far, yet less than our goal. Your thoughtful gift is very appreciated.
