ACOLYTES
Adult men and women of the parish who are practicing Catholics may assist the priests and deacons at the Altar during liturgical celebrations. They may also be requested to serve at Funeral Masses and other special occasions. What a special ministry this is to serve at Our Lord’s Table and at the same time, serve our brothers and sisters in Christ. Training required. Contact- Parish Office

ALTAR SERVERS
Boys and girls of the parish who have completed the first Semester of the Fifth grade are eligible to serve as acolytes, assisting the priests and deacons at the altar, during liturgical celebrations. Training required. No Meetings. Contact - Deacon Bill Johnson

BAPTISMS
Baptismal classes are held for families who have not attended before. Please contact the parish office at 837-3410 to schedule a class with Father Nickolai or one of our Deacons.
CHILDRENS’ LITURGY
The chance to share the “Good News” with our little ones is a great way to see them embrace Christ’s message. Present children’s liturgy at 10:30 a.m. Mass. Material provided. Contact - Parish Office
CHURCH CLEANING
Help clean the church each Friday after the 8:30 a.m. Mass (approximately 1 1/2 hours).

COMMUNION VISITORS
Bring and distribute the Eucharist to the homebound parishioners. Identify other needs the homebound may have regarding the parish. No Meetings. Contact - Dorothy Podry
EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Spend one “scheduled” hour per week with the Lord in the chapel. No Meetings. Contact -Millie McNary or Blanche Cox
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS
Schedule and train to participate in the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. No Meetings. Contact - Parish Office

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Working with funeral homes and with grieving families, planning funerals and funeral luncheon committee. Contact - Parish Office

GIFT BEARERS
Participate in the Mass by bringing the gifts of bread and wine to the priest at the Offertory of the Mass. No Meetings.

GREETERS
Welcome parishioners and our guests at the doors of the church as we gather for weekend worship. Provide facility information to visitors. No Meetings. Volunteer needed.
LECTORS/COMMENTATORS
Lectors read the Readings and the Commentators read the Introduction, the General Intercessions, (petitions) and the closing announcements at the Masses. No Meetings. Contact - Parish Office

LITURGY COMMISSION
Assist in the preparation and implementation of meaningful and prayerful worship celebrations. Membership is made up of the chairpersons of the various liturgy ministries.
Meetings - monthly.
MUSIC MINISTRY
To sing is to pray twice. The purpose of music is to enhance the liturgy and lead the people in more meaningful prayer. There is a choir with guitar at the 5:00 p.m. Saturday Mass. On Sunday there is a choir with organ/piano at 8:30 a.m.. The Contemporary Ensemble sings at 10:30 a.m. (Choir practice is Thursday evenings.) A voluntary Funeral choir adds to the parish support of grieving families. All parishioners are invited and welcome to join in the ministry of music. Contact - Parish Office - 837-3410
PURIFICATORS
Launder (church site)-Two persons each weekend will pick up, wash and iron Purificators (small cloths used by Eucharistic Ministers). You will be scheduled to do this approximately every six weeks. Contact – Karen McHugh
USHERS
Assist people in finding seating at weekend Masses, take up collections; distribute the parish bulletins and other information after the Masses. No Meetings.
