We are having a "Shining Star" school year at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne. The third quarter is well underway, and as usual our students and families are busy with studies and activities:
- COCA visited our school and presented the African Storytelling & Percussion Program on Feb. 4th - helping us to celebrate Catholic Schools Week and Black History Month
- Our Student Council helped raise hundreds of dollars for the Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund with dress-down days and an M&M fundraiser
- Our Home & School Committee sponsored two Gym Activity Events for students to get active during the cold winter days
- Teachers and staff will have their annual faculty retreat in March - refreshing their spirits as they continue their mission as Catholic educators
- Parents and parishioners are hard at work planning the 2nd Annual St. Rose Dinner Auction - Music of the Night set for Saturday, March 20th
Second graders, along with their parents, are preparing for First Holy Communion which will take place after Easter
