Fish Fry
Each fish fry is "sponsored" by classes at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Grade School. The sponsoring class provides workers to assist on prep night by rolling plasticware in napkins, preparing slaw, tarter sauce and cocktail sauce in small cups and helping with light dishes. Workers cover two shifts on the night of the fish fry and assist by busing tables and wiping them down, and monitoring trash cans. All other families in the assigned classroom who are not available to work are asked to send a dessert for the dessert table.
